What is the purpose of the Family Center Construction Fund?
Since its establishment in 2000, the North Church has been blessed by God and has journeyed through 24 years, steadily growing in His grace. Over time, we have evolved from a church primarily focused on young families to a vibrant, multi-generational congregation. However, our current facilities can no longer meet the needs of all age groups, especially the youth. To better serve our church family and pass the gospel on to the next generation, our vision is to build a multi-functional facility that can accommodate activities for all age groups. The estimated cost of this project is $5 million. This offering provides us with the opportunity to realize this vision, thus building, supporting, and nurturing the future of the entire church.
What is the goal for this year's Family Center construction offering? (2024/2025)
Thanks to God, the church development fund has a reserve of $2 million to start this project. The remaining costs will be covered by the contributions of brothers and sisters, as well as a bank loan. Our goal is to minimize the loan amount, aiming to raise $1.5 million through this offering in 2024 and 2025, so that the loan can be kept below $1.5 million.
Can I make a one-time donation in 2024 and 2025 while also contributing weekly or monthly to the building fund?
You are welcome to do so.
Does this building fund pledge have legal binding?
No, but the church hopes your pledge is accurate because the church is estimating this building fund pledge to secure a loan from the bank for the building project.
Can the money I donate to the building fund be tax-deductible?
Yes, the money you donate to the building fund can be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for more details.
Can my friends or relatives who do not attend our church donate to the building fund?
Anyone who agrees with the vision of the North Hall Church is welcome to participate in the donation. Final acceptance must be decided by the North Hall Board of Elders.
Should I inquire with my employer if they will match my donation?
We encourage you to take advantage of any matching donation programs your employer may offer. If your employer requires documentation or proof of your donation, the North Hall Church will be happy to provide the necessary information.
